Writing Ebooks: Create Your Ebook Today And Sell It Tomorrow

Have you ever thought about writing your own ebook? What if you could have it finished tomorrow? Writing your ebook in just one day can be a great confidence builder. Ebook writing can seem like an intimidating task at first -- especially in that short amount of time.

Several writers I know have been working on ebooks for at least a year. Will they ever complete their ebooks? It's doubtful: they've lost their inspiration. Once that's gone, it's hard to get it back.

One thought to take hold of is that an ebook is an information product. It's not a "poor man's" book. It's short and focused, and your reader should be able to take quick action on the information. Here are some points to help you get your ebook created in 24 hours.

Step one in ebook writing is to take stock of what you know well. It's easy to pass over skills that you use all the time, but you probably know something that others will gladly pay to know. Whether you think it's useful or not doesn't matter, you have skills that are valuable to others.

So grab a cup of tea and put your feet up. Fire up your computer or take out your pen, and reflect on what you have learned throughout your life. Maybe your dear old granny taught you everything she knows about cooking, and the two of you spent every weekend in the kitchen when you were a kid, baking apple pies. As simple as that, you've got your ebook.

Get out your pen (or computer), and list any idea that comes to you. Don't spend too much time, maybe thirty minutes. You may be surprised at what you can come up with. Go ahead and decide on something. Don't worry about choosing the perfect idea. It may seem mundane to you, but other people will pay to learn what you take for granted.

After you've chosen your topic, start making an outline. Don't worry about pleasing your English teacher, keep it simple. Just make a list. Write down everything that needs to be in your ebook. Next, just begin writing, adding to your outline's skeleton until you've completely explained all of your points.

Now stop. How much have you written? If you have at least ten or twelve pages, and you feel confident that you've provided enough information to get your points across, you're finished with the main part of your ebook.

Now that you have the body written, it's time to write an introduction. Just inspire and encourage your reader. If you went with your grandmother's cookbook, tell a few stories from when you were growing up, cooking with her.

That's it. You're done with your ebook writing. You just need a title. Just have a quick brainstorming session and think of as many possible titles as you can - try for twenty. Then choose one.

Congratulations! Your ebook is complete. Make sure you proof it for spelling and grammar. Record yourself reading it and listen to the playback. Then spend some time polishing it; add a bit here, take this out -- until you have a clean finished product.

Before it's ready to offer to the public, read your ebook out loud to your family, or maybe a few friends. If it sounds good, all that's left to do is convert it to PDF format. That's it -- and it can be done today, and sold tomorrow.
