Sell Ebooks: Four Great Tips To Help You To Sell More
Want to increase your income from each and every ebook you write? Of course you do. Let's look at four simple ways you can do this.
1. Sell a pre-launch version of your ebook. I always recommend to writers that they start selling the ebook while they're writing it. You can do this very easily by creating a blog.
When you do this, you're building up anticipation before the launch. It also means that you'll include what people really want to know about your topic, because you can ask your blog's readers for their feedback.
When you use this method to go public with your ebook, you're able to create a pre-launch offer. People who are interested in buying before your official launch can be put on a mailing list. You can then give them a great offer. When you are finished with your ebook, set up a website, and let the pre-launch subscribers know about it. You may be surprised at how many sales you'll generate.
2. Turn your ebook into a monthly ezine. Your ebook's been launched, and it's selling. Now it's time to capitalize on your information. An easy way to do this is to create a monthly ezine on your ebook's topic. Create 12 or more issues, and offer the ezine as an extra option to purchasers.
Two options for you are to offer the ezine as an upsell to buyers, or it can even be a new, separate product people subscribe to.
3. Turn your ebook into a series of podcasts. Podcasts (downloadable audio files, often in MP3 format) are appealing to buyers because they don't need to be sitting at their computer. They can take the audio with them and listen to it while they commute, or while they're exercising.
You can create the podcasts yourself. Or, if you don't know how (or don't want to), you can hire someone else to create them for you. However you do it, creating podcasts can help you make more from your ebook.
4. Write an advanced version of your ebook. There's always more information to give your buyers. So create an advanced version of your ebook for people who want to know more. This "Part 2" version could go into more detail on the topic, or could provide additional material.
For example, if you were selling an "how to diet" ebook, your advanced version could include recipes and diet plans. Once again, you've got a new product, which you could use as an upsell, or sell separately from the first ebook.
As you are writing ebooks, remember these four great tips. They will help you sell ebooks more effectively, and make more money from each ebook you create.
